Original Kiwi's are the best hiking trousers I have worn, comfortable, hard wearing and practical with lots of pockets. I have tried the lighter weight version and the more modern slim cut trousers but they just don't offer the same features - they are ok for travelling and city breaks, but nothing beats Kiwi's for serious hiking.
