Went for M first, which was far too small (despite measuring my head) - the XL fitted perfectly. My head measurement is 58cm in case that helps others.

Good quality shirt but it really is of a thick fleece material so will definitely keep you very warm in mid winter, not for autumn wear ( too warm )
